Makerzoid Happy Farm is more than a farm toy – it is a series of practical STEM projects. Children build models based on real mechanical principles, watch movement happen step by step and begin to understand how one gear, lever or transmission changes the whole system.

Cam mechanism: rice hulling

The Rice Huller model shows how a cam converts steady motion into intermittent or oscillating motion. It is a great first example because children can clearly see how one simple part drives a complex action.

Crank-slider mechanism: grinding

Grinding demonstrates how rotary motion can become linear motion. This is a strong way to explain why machines do not only need speed – they also need the right type of movement for the task.

Wheel and axle: power station

Power Station introduces one of the most important basic mechanisms: the wheel and axle. It helps children understand how rotation can be transferred with very little effort and gives a simple first lesson in drive systems.

Two-stage gear transmission: engine

Engine shows acceleration and reduction through two pairs of gears. This is the moment when children start understanding how gear teeth, gear ratio and rotation direction influence the result.

Vertical transmission and belt drive

Seesaw teaches the basics of a lever, fulcrum and balance. It is one of the best learning examples in the manual because children can physically feel how balance changes when position and weight change.
